Mole Removal: Risks
What are the risks of mole removal?

In general, mole removal is a relatively uncomplicated process, particularly with an incisional biopsy. If the pathology report confirms that a mole is malignant, a second, more invasive surgery such as a margin excision or laser surgery may be required. Depending on the size of the mole, some scarring may result. Scars can often be minimized or removed with cosmetic surgery.
