"About a month ago I noticed a new product advertised on your site called Whitestrips (by Crest). They claimed to “whiten teeth 10 times better than the leading whitening toothpaste!” Being a life-long coffee drinker, I always struggled with the consequences. I have tried several other products in the past, but none of them seemed to make much of a difference. I decided to give Whitestrips a try and I’m glad I did.
I was so excited to start the process that I didn’t read the instructions correctly the first time. I opened the box and found strips for both my upper and lower teeth. I picked one of each and started to apply them—both to the top and the bottom.
It was a little awkward at first. The strips fit across the top of your teeth and are held into place by the gel on the underside. Most of the treatments I had tried in the past consisted of a mouthpiece that made it impossible to talk or do anything else for the period of time you had to wear it. The Whitestrips were a little easier to wear and hardly noticeable when my mouth was closed.
Like I said before, I didn’t read the instructions completely and found myself with both the top and bottom strips on at the same time. It created quite a gooey mess. After reading the instructions the second time I found out that I was supposed to do all the top strips first and then the bottom (after the initial period of 14 days had passed). After learning this lesson the rest was quite easy.
I just finished day 20 of my treatments. My top teeth are at least 2 shades whiter and they look wonderful. I started on my bottom teeth the other day and can already see an incredible difference. People have asked me if I have been tanning or something else. I guess a white smile can make a difference.
