It takes time to adjust to dentures. No matter how well they're made and fitted to your mouth, your replacement teeth will feel awkward for a while. You may feel comfortable within a few hours, or it may take several weeks.
Your dentures may feel loose until your mouth and cheek muscles adapt. It's not unusual for saliva to increase. You might experience some minor irritation, but these difficulties should diminish soon.
